Adding koi to your pond.

Your new koi fish may take up to six weeks to acclimate to its pond, during which time your koi fish will be alert and curious, and will contort its body to see its surroundings in an effort to become familiar with them. Their contentment with their surroundings is shown by their frequent use of the pectoral fins to probe the water's surface. Additionally, they could be ravenous at all times. They will be at ease gliding aimlessly around the pond, exploring the vegetation and bottom for food. Over their time in their new pond, they will stay close together in groups till they are fully at ease.   To learn more about shipping live fish, visit this page.
