18cm Developing Hi Utsuri Koi Fish
At 18cm, this young Hi Utsuri koi is still in the early stages of its development, offering a fantastic opportunity for koi enthusiasts to watch and enjoy its transformation over the coming years.
Hi Utsuri are admired for their striking black and red patterning, and part of the excitement of purchasing a young koi is watching these colours, patterns and body characteristics continue to develop as the fish matures. This koi has plenty of growing and maturing ahead of it, with many years of development still to come.
Please keep in mind that, at this young stage, its current appearance is not necessarily a finished representation of what it may become. The sumi (black patterning), hi (red colouration) and overall pattern balance can change considerably as the koi grows and matures. Its eventual appearance will depend on its genetics, environment, water quality, nutrition and overall care.
